Fourth of July desserts from the best of the best

Well, as some of you know I was without electricity for four days due to the Derecho storm that hit Virginia pretty darn hard Friday night.  Luckily, everyone is peachy keen but boy was it HOT!  Temperatures were in the 100's.  Food spoiled and we were unable to use the water because of our sump pump.  So, we scurried with just the clothes on our backs to my Mom's and just got home today.  EVERYTHING in both refrigerators had to be thrown away and a lot of my fondant and cake supplies were ruined in the heat.  You might be wondering why I am telling you all this.  Well, to keep it short... not only was I already behind in posting something yummy for the 4th of July, this storm blind sided me and now it's impossible to bake and blog a patriotic dessert for you in time for the big day.  So I did what I do best when I am unable to post an original Buttercream Bakehouse recipe.  I scoured the blogesphere for yummy, creative treats by some of the BEST bloggers I know.  I hope this get's to you in time in-case you may be in charge of bringing dessert to your BBQ's, POTLUCKS and PARADE TAILGATING parties for tomorrow's festivities.  Hope you enjoy yourself and by all means STAY COOL!!!!
