brownie ball pops

Brownie pops are a wonderful and creative dessert bite that is perfect for any occasion.  You can customise the colors and sprinkles and even add other toppings such as nuts, cereal or mini chocolate chips.  The possibility's are endless making this my number one go to dessert to bring to potlucks.  They travel well and are always a hit with kids and adults alike.

Bake any Brownie recipe you fancy and let cool slightly.  Take a knife and cut along the edge to remove the crust.  You just want the soft and gooey part in your brownie pop.

Next, using a cookie scoop (use any size depending on how large or small you want your pop)

As you scoop smash the brownie against the side of your glass pan.  This will ensure equal sized brownie pops everytime.

Then roll it out baby.  Just as if you were making meatballs.

Set on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

Stick lollipop sticks in the centers and place those puppies in the freezer to firm up.  This makes dipping them in the candy melts much easier and much neater...no crumbs.

Melt the candy melts according to package directions and dunk them into the mixture. Tap access lightly and if you are using sprinkled to decorate your pops...add them immediatly. These babies dry fast so don't delay or you'll miss your chance.

You can dress these up any old way you wish.

These were for a customer who wanted them to be patriotic

Happy 4th of July,

Buttercream
