Brownie Pops

In my last post I promised I would give a tutorial on making Brownie pops.  They are so darn easy to make, it was a snap to put this how- to together.  Basically just buy the brownie pop mold, use your favorite brownie recipe, insert lollipop sticks, decorate and VIOLA!   Okay, I'm not that cruel.  I promised a step by step and a step by step you'll get.  This clever, easy as 123 dessert bite will be a party staple in no time...Promise!

Here she is...The Wilton Brownie pop mold.

It's made of silicone and easy to work with.  Spray it with butter cooking spray before adding your favorite brownie batter and those babies will pop right out when baked.

  Insert Lollipop sticks while warm.

Melt candy melts in microwave per package directions.
I chose vanilla flavor.  If you are feeling really sassy, you can add extracts to these once melted.

Maybe add peppermint extract and dip in crushed candy canes or coconut extract and dip in sweetened, toasted coconut...Oh my, the possiblities.

Okay, back on track here...Get your Favorite sprinkles ready.  I used a lovely spring mix I found at Wegmans.

Dip, dip, away.

I choose to dip just the ends but if you're really bad, you can drizzle, dunk, smear or plundge that brownie pop any which way you like.

So Pur-tay!!!

you can tie a bow with matching ribbon, add a tag or bag 'em up with a bow for take home treats.  The possiblities are endless

I chose to put them on a dessert tray.  But next time I just may try something new.

Don't have favorite brownie recipe?  No worries...I posted a fabulous, fudgy, find previously.

Just click here to view recipe and step by step directions.

Enjoy!
