Oh, how I love my little Snicker babies.
No need for commentary because the pictures pretty much sum it up. But just in case for some wacky reason you can't see the pics...here ya go!
Roll out a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter cookie dough into a ball. Like a meatball. Unwrap the Snicker's and place one in the middle. Make another ball the same size and smash down on the top and lightly seal the edges in the palms of your hands.
These were the last I saw of these sweet, golden, goodies.
YUM! That pretty much sums it up.
Snickers Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies
1/2
cup granulated sugar
1/2
cup packed brown sugar
1/2
cup peanut butter
1/4
cup shortening
1/4
cup butter or margarine, softened
1
egg
1 1/4
cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
3/4
teaspoon baking soda
1/2
teaspoon baking powder
1/4
teaspoon salt
- Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, butter and egg in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Heat oven to 375ºF.
- Shape dough into balls (about a tablespoon each). Place one ball on a clean work-space. Flatten slightly. Place an unwrapped Snickers miniature in the middle of the dough. Place another ball on top of the Snickers and flatten slightly. Shape dough into a ball in the palms of your hands and seal the edges together.
- Place about 3 inches apart on un-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies
