Ghost cupcakes

This is such a cute and very easy way to decorate a cupcake for Halloween.  You can purchase the fondant and cookie sticks from your local craft store and use store bought frosting to make it even easier.  Surprise your kids with an afternoon treat or have them help you join in on the fun of making them.   Either way, they'll be glad you discovered this clever, ghostly treat.

First bake up your favorite cupcake flavor and brownie balls.  Click HERE for a tutorial on how to make brownie balls and click HERE for an awesome brownie recipe.  Of course, you can always make brownies from a box and have the same YUMMY results.

Once cupcakes and brownie pops are cooled, place a cookie stick (the smallest you can find or trim down a regular sized one) in the brownie pop and then insert it into the cupcake as shown.

Roll out a piece of white fondant ( wilton sells it) and use a large circle cutter.  Flatten with a rolling pin again and drape over the brownie pop.

Use an edible market pen to create the eyes and mouth.  This can also be found at your local cake decorating supply store or craft store.  Or you can order it HERE.

Have a Ghostly Halloween!
