This little project is really quite simple. Just prepare your favorite vanilla cake batter and place about a teaspoon of the batter in your mini muffin tin lined with mini cupcake liners. Tuck one Candy Corn in the middle and top with another teaspoon of batter.
Bake according to your recipe and cool. The Candy Corn melts into the cake batter while it's baking creating a moist Candy Corn flavored cake.
Did I scare you?
Okay, okay. I told you they were too cute to be scary.

You will need:
Your favorite vanilla cupcake recipe
your favorite vanilla buttercream
Wilton orange food coloring
Wilton Golden Yellow food coloring
3 piping bags
Prepare cake batter according to directions.
Add a teaspoon of batter to liners.
Add one Candy Corn in the middle and top with another teaspoon of cake batter.
Bake according to directions.
Prepare Buttercream.
Once cupcakes are cooled you can start to decorate them.
Take 3 piping bags and fill each separately with white, yellow and orange Buttercream.
Using the star tip, start with the yellow Buttercream and pipe around the cupcake twice.
Repeat with Orange.
Then using the large round tip and white Buttercream fill the inside of the yellow and orange "rings" you just made with swirls of white adding height to make the ghost.
Add two black pearl sprinkles for eyes.
